At Navadisha the academic staff do not distance themselves from the children; instead the equation is one of children and family, in an informal but organized learning environment. The continuous training of the staff is valued at Navadisha and their efforts at self development are nurtured.

 

The Primary and Elementary Montessori Directresses at Navadisha are well trained AMI Diploma holders (Association Montessori Internationale headquartered at Amsterdam, directs Montessori Training Courses all over the world) who take responsibility to prepare the environment and direct the children in the Montessori Environment. They assist the children according to their individual needs within the community. They also seek to build a relationship with the parents.

 

The Secondary teachers are qualified as per the norms of the CISCE Board and are from a variety of educational backgrounds. Some of them start out young, while several of them are experienced, bringing diversity, energy, vitality and fresh insight to the team.

The academic staff are supported by a strong administrative body and dedicated non-teaching staff to help co-ordinate the educational efforts. The team attempts to offer a well knit support system for the children in their care.
